This blog previously relayed a warning that India, Pakistan, most of Africa and most of Latin America would be the areas most affected by declining grain harvests due to extreme weather. Now, with a similarly dire warning, Climate Progress has a post about a must-read new book: Lester Brown’s “Plan B 4.0: Mobilizing to Save Civilization.” In his latest book Brown expands on his treatise that unrestricted emissions of greenhouse gases will have devastating impacts on agriculture.
